Pricing and plan limits for Podia and Flodesk
The main difference between Podia and Flodesk’s pricing is that Flodesk has different plans for email and checkout, while Podia is an all-in-one option with email and online selling features on every plan.
Flodesk has three plans, Email, Checkout, and Everything.
The Email plan costs $38/month and includes email marketing features like:

The Checkout plan also costs $38/month and includes checkout cart features for selling digital products like:
- Sales pages
- Checkout pages
- Upsells
- Online payments
- Instant product delivery
If you want both email and checkout features, the Everything plan includes all the tools of Email and Checkout for $64/month.
All Flodesk plans are unlimited. On the Email plan, you can have unlimited email subscribers and send as many emails as you like. On the Checkout plan, you can sell unlimited products to unlimited customers.

If you wanted unlimited digital products and online courses, you could upgrade to the Mover plan for $39/month plus the email add-on for $17/month and you’d pay $56/month in total.
On Flodesk, you could use the Email plan for $38/month to get unlimited email or the Checkout plan for $38/month to get unlimited products and sales pages. If you wanted both email and the ability to sell digital products, you’d need the Everything plan for $64/month.
Flodesk’s everything plan doesn’t include an online community, customer messaging, or an online course builder, so if you wanted these features you’d likely have to integrate with more tools for an additional cost.
Can I use segments, tags, and automation?
You can use segments, tags, and automation to organize your list with Podia and Flodesk Email.
With Podia, you can create custom tags and add people to segments based on their interests or actions. You can also filter audience members by how much money they’ve spent with you, how many products they’ve purchased, and their level of engagement with your emails.
Once you have your audience organized the way you like, you can use Podia automations to send messages to specific people. Automatically send a welcome sequence when someone joins your list, a nurture sequence when someone downloads a free lead magnet, a sales funnel to warm leads, or additional resources when someone purchases a product.
With Flodesk, you can also break your audience into segments. Flodesk automatically tags audience actions, like when people click a link or open an email, and you can use the tags to add people to the correct segments. Automations in Flodesk are called Workflows and can be used to automatically deliver content to your followers.
How much control do I have over my email design?
Both Podia and Flodesk Email have beautiful templates that you can use to jumpstart your creativity. You can fully customize your fonts, colors, layouts, and email sections using both tools, so you know the emails you send will match your brand and look professional.
Are websites and landing pages included?
Podia includes a full website with unlimited pages on all plans, including the free plan. The website builder is beginner-friendly (no coding knowledge required) and a sales page is automatically generated for every product you create. You can also make unlimited email opt-in pages or embed an email newsletter sign-up form wherever you like throughout your website.
Because your website, email, and checkout pages are all managed through the same tool, you don’t have to worry about integrations or using a third-party tool like Zapier to make everything connect.
Flodesk does not include a full website feature. Flodesk Email lets you make landing page email opt-in forms, and Flodesk Checkout lets you build sales pages and checkout pages. If you want access to email opt-in pages, sales pages, and checkout pages, you’ll need the “Everything” plan for $64/month.
Can I sell digital products?
Yep! You can sell digital products with Podia and Flodesk Checkout.
On Podia, all plans include the ability to sell digital products, including the free plan. You can sell a digital download, coaching session, and online community access on the free plan, or you can upgrade to the Mover and Shaker plans for unlimited digital products and the ability to sell online courses and webinars.
Podia’s Mover and Shaker plans include a user-friendly online course platform where you can create drip, email, cohort, self-study, and access-limited courses. You can also use Podia to sell memberships, upsells, and subscriptions.
All products can be priced as free or paid and you can create payment plans and coupons if you’d like to offer discounts. When someone makes a purchase, Podia handles product delivery instantly and you can send emails to customers of a particular product, or automatically add them to specific email campaigns.
Podia also includes affiliate management so you can incentivize happy customers to market your products for you. Third-party affiliate marketing tools can get pricey fast, and having this built-in means you can easily communicate with your affiliates for one fair price.

With Flodesk, you can sell digital products on the Checkout plan or the Everything plan. These plans include your sales pages and checkout pages as well as upsells, online payments, transactions, and instant file delivery.
An important distinction is that Flodesk does not include an online course builder feature. You can sell courses hosted through other platforms like Podia, Teachable, Kajabi, or Thinkific using the Flodesk checkout system, but you can’t build the course modules, lessons, and videos natively within Flodesk.
Likewise, Flodesk does not include a built-in community feature so you’ll need to connect with a different tool to sell community plans. Flodesk does have instant file delivery, so if you’re selling a PDF or other digital download, or want to give customers access to a specific link, you can do that through Flodesk Checkout.
