What changed for Kajabi and ClickFunnels in 2025–2026
Both Kajabi and ClickFunnels have gone through changes in recent years, which is why you might see outdated information floating around online.
Kajabi raised its prices in January 2026. They removed their lowest price Kickstarter plan, and the Basic plan now starts at $179/month. Alongside the new pricing, Kajabi also added AI tools into their lineup.
ClickFunnels introduced a new top-tier annual plan called Dominate. At $5,997/year, it sits above Optimize and is only available billed annually, aimed at businesses running a lot of funnels with a large team. They also added AI tools onto all plans.
Given the new updates, here’s how Kajabi and ClickFunnels compare today on price and features.
Kajabi vs. ClickFunnels pricing
As a business owner, you have to keep an eye on your books. So the first thing to think about when deciding between Kajabi and ClickFunnels is how much each tool costs. (Pricing verified July 2026.)
Kajabi has three main plans and a 14-day free trial. While Kajabi doesn’t charge a site-wide transaction fee, they do charge a standard credit card processing fee if you use Kajabi Payments, and there’s an additional fee if you use a third-party payment processor.
- Basic: $179/month ($143/month paid annually). Includes 5 products, 1 website, 1 community, up to 2,500 contacts, 1 extra admin seat, landing pages, funnels, and email marketing.
- Growth: $249/month ($199/month paid annually). Includes 50 products, 1 website, 1 community, up to 25,000 contacts, and everything in Basic, plus affiliate marketing, cohort courses, advanced automations, webhooks, and 10 extra admin seats.
- Pro: $499/month ($399/month paid annually). Includes unlimited products, 3 websites, 3 communities, up to 100,000 contacts, and everything in Growth, plus a branded mobile app, API access, a custom code editor, and 25 extra admin seats.
ClickFunnels has four plans and a 14-day free trial. ClickFunnels does not charge any transaction fees.
- Launch: $97/month ($81/month paid annually). Includes 1 workspace, 2 team members, 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails/month, 3 courses, 5 custom domains, and unlimited visitors.
- Scale: $197/month ($164/month paid annually). Includes 5 workspaces, 5 team members, 75,000 contacts, 300,000 emails/month, 6 courses, unlimited custom domains, priority and live chat support, and countdown funnels.
- Optimize: $297/month ($248/month paid annually). Includes 10 workspaces, 10 team members, 150,000 contacts, 750,000 emails/month, 10 courses, and the affiliate center.
- Dominate: $5,997/year (annual only). Includes 20 workspaces, 20 team members, 400,000 contacts, 1.2 million emails/month, 20 courses, VIP support, and 3 hours of private onboarding.
Each plan comes with the ability to make courses (exact number depends on the plan), landing pages, community, and an online storefront. The two exceptions are countdown funnels, which are available on Scale and up, and the affiliate center, which is available on Optimize and up.
For context, here's how Podia's pricing compares.
Podia has three plans: Mover, Shaker, and Earthquaker.
All plans include your website, community, courses, digital products, and unlimited students. There's a free 30-day trial on every plan, and free migrations are included on all paid plans, so the team will move your products and customers over from wherever you're coming from.
- Mover: $49/month ($42/month paid annually) with a 5% transaction fee. Includes your community, website, blog, and landing pages, as well as space for 50 products, storage for 500 videos, 25 community spaces, and email marketing for up to 100 subscribers.
- Shaker: $99/month ($84/month paid annually) with 0% transaction fee. Includes 150 products, storage for 1,000 videos, 100 community spaces, affiliates, upsells, and email marketing for up to 500 subscribers.
- Earthquaker: $179/month ($150/month paid annually) with 0% transaction fee. Includes unlimited products, unlimited community spaces, unlimited assistant seats, unlimited video storage, and email marketing for up to 1,000 subscribers.
How does this play out by the numbers ?
ClickFunnels doesn’t charge a transaction fee and Kajabi doesn’t take a cut when you use Kajabi Payments, so the clearest comparison is simply what you pay each month for a given amount of room to grow. Podia doesn't charge a transaction fee on the Shaker plan and above, so we'll include that here too.
Say you're just getting started and want to make your first few courses. If you make $1,000 a month in sales, here's what you'd pay:
- Kajabi Basic ($179/month): $179 total, since Kajabi doesn't charge a transaction fee. Includes 5 products, 1 community, 2,500 contacts.
- ClickFunnels Launch ($97/month): $97 total, since ClickFunnels doesn't charge a transaction fee either. Includes 3 courses, community included, 10,000 contacts, and 50K monthly email sends
- Podia Shaker ($99/month): $99 total, since Podia also doesn’t charge a transaction fee on this plan. Includes 150 products, community included, unlimited students, and email marketing for up to 500 subscribers.
At this stage, Podia Shaker costs about the same as ClickFunnels Launch, but gives you a lot more room to grow. You get 150 products to work with, compared to Kajabi's 5 products or ClickFunnels' 3 courses.
Another thing to note: Both Kajabi and Podia let you add on more email subscribers as your list grows, allowing you to stay on the same base plan and just pay for more email space if needed. ClickFunnels requires that you upgrade to the next tier if you need more space for contacts.
What does Kajabi do well ?
With Kajabi, you can sell courses, downloads, coaching, and memberships. They have features for building a podcast and newsletter, and you can also make funnels, a website, and manage your email marketing.
On the course front, Kajabi has tools for making standalone courses and programs, with cohort courses available once you reach the Growth plan. The course builder supports assessments and quizzes, and you can segment students based on how they perform.
Community is included on every plan too, with 1 community on Basic and Growth and 3 on Pro, so you have a space for your members without adding another tool. Your website, blog, and landing pages live in the same place, and you can add on a white-label mobile app on the Pro plan.
Email marketing is included as well, with contact limits scaling by plan, from 2,500 on Basic up to 100,000 on Pro. Recently, Kajabi has added more AI features to help you build faster, a nice perk if you use AI in your content.
The tradeoff comes down to two things: pricing is high, and product limits are steep. The Basic plan caps you at just 5 products, which most creators outgrow fast. Getting more room means jumping to Growth at $249/month, which can be a big increase for a solo business owner.
And if you ever were to need even more space, the Pro plan with unlimited products will set you back $499/month.
What does ClickFunnels do well ?
ClickFunnels is built around sales funnels, and the sales funnel editor is the backbone of the tool. Other features, like courses, community, and landing pages, sit on top of that foundation.
Every plan comes with unlimited funnels, and no matter which tier you're on, you can set up landing pages, build a community, and create a storefront for your offers. You can also run A/B tests on your funnels and add surveys as part of the funnel experience. Courses are included too, though the number you can build depends on your plan.
AI tools are included at every tier as well, and how much you get to use scales up as you move up in plan. A couple of features are locked behind higher tiers though, like countdown funnels and the affiliate center.
One thing to consider is that each plan comes with contact limits and email send limits. (Podia and Kajabi both have unlimited email sends.) You can still run automations and send emails with ClickFunnels, you'll just need to keep an eye on your plan's sending limits.
The other thing to know is that courses stay capped no matter how much you pay. Even Dominate, ClickFunnels' top plan at over $5,000 per year, only gives you 20 courses. If you're hoping to build a large, growing library of courses over time, this could be a barrier down the road.
Simply put, ClickFunnels can work well for you if your marketing is funnel-heavy. If that's not really how your business runs, you could end up paying for a lot of bells and whistles you don't need.
Where might Podia be a better fit ?
With Kajabi and ClickFunnels, it's easy to end up paying for something you don't need or hitting a wall right as your business starts to grow. Kajabi's product limits are low considering the price, and ClickFunnels has course limits that might feel too restrictive if your business isn't mainly based on funnels.
If you want lots of flexibility and plenty of space to grow, all for an affordable price, Podia is a great option to consider.
With Podia, your community, courses, events, coaching, downloads, and email marketing are all connected. You can also build funnels in Podia using lead magnets, upsells, coupons, and email automations.
Your community is woven into your students' experience alongside their content, with a home feed that brings together their courses, community spaces, and upcoming events in one place. You can bundle community access with courses and products, or sell it as a membership.
Podia’s course builder lets you make self-paced, drip, and cohort courses on every plan, and you can charge a one-time fee, subscription pricing, or offer payment plans. You can also add seat limits, waitlists, future start dates, and access durations.
The website builder is easy to use so you can make a site that looks and feels like you, and you can also set up a blog to share what you know and grow your business in search.
Podia Email is included on every plan too, with automations, campaigns, tagging, and segmentation, plus metrics showing how much revenue each email generated. Because email lives alongside your products and community, you can pull in blog content or product links in just a couple of clicks.
As coach Casey Cole Corbin puts it,
“Before Podia, I had a hodgepodge of platforms, apps, and software duct-taped together. It was expensive, clunky, and honestly… it slowed me down. I looked at Kajabi, but it was several times more expensive and packed with features I didn't need. Podia helped me move with speed again. It's become my full-time income.”
What’s the best fit for you ?
The right choice for you depends on how you plan to grow your business.
Kajabi gives you courses, community, and email marketing in one place, along with access to AI tools. Watch out for product limits though. The Basic plan has a 5-product cap which means you could outgrow it fast and be pushed onto the even-higher-priced Growth plan.
If your business runs on funnels, ClickFunnels has lots of advanced marketing funnel options. But like Kajabi, there are also strict course limits, which could get in the way as you want to make more things.
If you want your courses, community, website, and email marketing connected from day one, with plenty of room to grow, Podia is a great option. Podia keeps your community at the heart of everything, so your customers feel like they have a home base they can’t wait to come back to.
