How does pre-selling work in Podia?
Step 1
Start taking pre-orders when you have your outline
Add your idea to Podia, and set a future start date to allow pre-sales. That way you’ll see if there’s interest in your product before you spend days (or weeks, or months) making it.
Step 2
Build a customer-validated product while sales come in
If people buy your product, you’ve got a winner. Imagine how good it will feel to work on a new project and know it’s something your customers want. Better yet – what if that product could put some cash in your pockets?
Step 3
When your product is ready, Podia handles the delivery
Anyone who pre-ordered your product will automatically receive their purchase on the date you’ve chosen. So you can enjoy launch day without stressing about logistics.

Accept pre-sale payments by Paypal and Stripe (Through Stripe you can also use Google Pay, Apple Pay, iDEAL, SEPA Debit, Stripe Link, etc.)

Yes, once your start date has passed, you can add a new start date if you’d like to pre-sell your product for another group/cohort of customers in the future.

You can remove a start date (and give everyone access immediately) by selecting “Remove” anytime before the start date passes. If you do this, anyone who enrolls in your course will get immediate access, and anyone who has already registered before the start date will get access.

Yep! If your product is an online course with drip content, the drip will begin on the day you set as the start date.
